If you were raised in the South, you grew up eating stewed potatoes at least a couple of times a month, if not every week. I think this is a spot-on observation, and not without a lot of research out there that supports it.

My plants got pretty chewed up by bugs — possibly grasshoppers. Potato soup is a little bit thinner than stewed potatoes and usually has a few more ingredients like dill or celery seed. And like lots of others, I thought all my plants were dying of heat, lack of water, animal interference, etc. Is this normal at this stage or is this late potato blight. I like colorful food.
